The Problem

Like many of our customers, what TravelCo was seeking was no different, yet remained elusive to them: ways in which they could drastically reduce their time to remediate production incidents that impacted their customers and partners. Beyond finding the right technology partner to help them in this endeavor, TravelCo also made it clear that speed to deployment and time to value were going to be critical aspects for them to make a long term commitment. TravelCo did not want to get bogged down in a typical enterprise deployment --weeks, if not months of configuration and setup and the general back-and-forth that has unfortunately become an expectation from most technology vendors.

The Solution

Armed with a deeper understanding of what mattered to TravelCo, we instantly knew that our Enterprise SaaS deployment was going to be the path to success. Flip’s Enterprise SaaS deployment combines the agility and speed of SaaS software, with the security, privacy and governance principles that Enterprises deeply care about. With Flip Enterprise SaaS, the Customer would get a single-tenant deployment, along with full access to audit any and all changes in the environment, such as human access patterns, ingress and egress traffic, and configuration changes. Once the Customer confirmed that this was the route they wanted to go, we spent 10 days doing some lightweight discovery. Once we received access to TravelCo’s Splunk and AppDynamics observability data, we were able to hand off access to the Flip Observability Intelligence Platform in less than 3 weeks. Not only had TravelCo achieved the speed that they desired in getting Flip up and running, they were now experiencing the power of automated root cause analysis by correlating logs from Splunk, metrics and traces from AppDynamics, all powered by Flip AI’s large language models.

Shaping Tomorrow

In a short matter of time, we met TravelCo, engaged in a handful of discovery sessions, gained access to their observability systems of record, deployed Flip, and handed it off to a team of TravelCo developers to experience our generative AI powered root cause analysis capabilities. The actual deployment of the Flip platform for TravelCo took but a few hours.

As we chart the future with TravelCo, we will next be integrating with ServiceNow, their change management and alerting system, to further automate the debugging workflow for their developer force. Beyond that, we will begin to roll out Flip across a massive footprint of application hosts to bring debugging automation and intelligence enterprise-wide.
